This short story appeared in 2025 in the 'Lesebuch für Literatur aus Rheinland-Pfalz'—an anthology published by finebooks-Verlag and edited by Leonie Berger, Sarah Beicht, and Michael Au on behalf of the Ministry for Family, Women, Culture, and Integration of Rhineland-Palatinate. In Ihrer story 'Zu den Wurzeln' ('Back to the Roots'), Juliane Stadler—for a change—did not venture into the past, but instead dared to cast a humorous glance into the near future.

This short story appeared in 2024 in an anthology published by Bonifatius-Verlag, edited by Tanja Kinkel to mark the 1,300th anniversary of the founding of Reichenau Abbey. In Juliane Stadler’s contribution, Abbot Uldarich investigates a forged charter that undoubtedly originated in his monastery’s scriptorium.
Other best-selling authors tell stories based on true events about abbots and monks, wine growers and fishermen, empresses and nuns who have left their mark on the island and thus outline life on the island and in the monastery through the centuries.

Der Zwölfte oder der Sängerkrieger von Trossingen

The short story 'The Twelfth or the Singer Warrior from Trossingen' was published in 2011 in the anthology of Gmeiner-Verlag "Three day's rides from Lake Constance".  The starting point was a spectacular grave find from the 6th century. AD from Trossingen, a warrior's grave with excellently preserved objects. In addition to everyday objects, sumptuous clothing and combat equipment, one object stood out in particular: a lyre depicting twelve armed men.
The story of this man and his unusual instrument won third prize in the Quo Vadis short story competition.
